Internet Versus Books and TV in the Past

Today we are probably facing the most technological era of our time and the Internet versus books and TV in the past is a topic that sometimes we should cover and discuss. There is not doubt that the Internet is by far the most complete medium ever created, because it holds all the different media, such as TV, music, literature, photos and so forth; and it gives such of a complete environment that it's very hard defeat.

Of course in the past people enjoyed watching TV, but the concept was to sit down, turn on the TV and passively watch a show. A little bit different was obviously the concept of reading, where people would sit down at the comfort of their homes or maybe their backyards and enjoy a beautiful book and letting free their imagination. All of these things of course, are still very doable today but the Internet allows an additional option. The Internet is not and will never be, an entire replacement of books or TV, however it is definitely a way to get them faster and easier to find and it should not be disregarded as something cheap and too modern.

As the years go by, instead of saying Internet versus books and TV in the past, we should reconsider the Internet as a platform, as a way of integrating cultures and as a way of bringing people closer to culture, this way anybody can enjoy books or TV content that otherwise would be lost forever or maybe left collecting dust on some shelf and nobody would ever pick them up or even find them. This is a very unique concept, it is something that probably is going to help our world.
