<title>Survey 2 Says - Which Hand is the Toughest to Play in a Poker Tournament?</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/casino-gambling/news_2008-10-08-10-20-05-164.html</link>
<description> In the previous survey, I asked which hand tournament poker players hated the most. The winning hand was pocket Jacks. However, in that survey, I left off A-K. A-K or Big Slick used to be called &quot;Walking Back to Houston.&quot; From what I&#039;ve read, the reason it was called &quot;Walking Back to Houston&quot; is that in the big stakes games played in Dallas, players from Houston would come into town and play A-K strong. Unfortunately, they&#039;d run into a pair of aces and go bust. In this survey, I asked players which hand they would prefer to be dealt in the middle of a poker tournament.

<title>Roulette at the Casino Barriere in Biarritz, France</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/casino-gambling/news_2008-10-07-15-00-03-114.html</link>
<description> Following a rainy day in Biarritz, a sodden wind-swept beach and little else to entertain us, my friends and I spent the day playing Texas Hold&#039;em Poker in our rented apartment. With three girls and four boys sharing a small two bedroom apartment it soon became rather stuffy. The escape? A trip down in the Trusty Fiat to La Casino Barriere, on the seafront in Biarritz. The casino is newly refurbished, and retains much of the splendour of the original Biarritz casino (opened August 10, 1901).

         <title>Bingo Through the Ages</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/casino-gambling/news_2008-10-05-13-20-02-569.html</link>
<description> The game of bingo is not new. It traces its roots back to the sixteenth century Italian lottery game which spread across the Continent due to its popularity. In England the game was based on ninety numbers. When the game came to America it was restructured and the American version is based on seventy five number. Bingo, originally called Beano, was played in bars and saloons. The numbers were written on discs which were drawn from a cigar box. The players covered the numbers on their cards with beans, hence the name Beano.

<description> The welcome bonus is a competitive marketing tool in the world of online bingo. The growing online bingo industry is a competitive environment for the online bingo operators as they compete for customers. Every time a new site is launched, the degree of competition increases as firms try to attract new customers while retaining their existing customers. One of the best ways to attract new customers is to offer them a welcome bonus. The more attractive the bingo operator makes it to join, the more new customers he will attract.

<title>Increasing Your Stake Sizes When Soccer Betting</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/casino-gambling/news_2008-10-05-12-55-02-596.html</link>
<description> One of the most important aspects of betting on soccer or indeed any sport is how you manage your funds as this can play a huge part in whether you are successful over a long period of time or not and requires balancing patience and discipline with the natural desire to progress. A classic mistake that bettors tend to make is increasing their stake sizes prematurely when they have not devoted adequate time to the growth of the original amount of the betting bank and history has shown that this kind of impatient practice does not succeed as it can not protect the bank from any losses that may occur.

<description> Online bingo is an expanding segment of the online gaming industry. It attracts players from around the world and in many cases is used as the vehicle for entering a new national market. There are different versions and variations of the game, but the mechanics of play are the same in all of them. A number is randomly selected by a caller and announced. Players mark the called number on their tickets and complete the specified patterns. The first player to do so wins the prize. The game of bingo is a member of the lotto family of games and is based purely on luck and chance.

<title>The History of Craps - Gambling With Dice</title>
         <link>http://www.articlebin.info/arts-and-entertainment/casino-gambling/news_2008-10-05-12-20-02-958.html</link>
<description> Many historians believe that people in medieval times played a game very similar to our modern day craps. The game of craps actually goes back even farther, to the Holy Roman Empire, when soldiers would entertain themselves by whittling or carving down pig knuckles into cube shapes which they would then roll, using their inverted shields as a makeshift craps table. From this practice has come the term &quot;to roll the bones&quot;. There are other schools of thought as to craps&#039; origin. Some believe craps originated in America from another old dice game called &quot;hazard&quot;.
