Get an Added Edge with Real Estate Pre-Construction Investment

Real estate may be all about location, location, location, but real estate investment is also about timing, timing, timing. Like the stock market, when you make your investment is just as important as the investment you choose. And, when it comes to real estate, a pre-construction investment can maximize your return. The primary pre-construction investment advantage is that you can generally purchase a property at a lower price than if you were to wait until after the project breaks ground. Once construction is underway, popular locations and properties can trigger an influx of new investors who drive prices up.

How To Audition - Am I Talented Enough To Get Cast

Am I Talented Enough? First off if you"re really asking this question then you are already failing your audition. Let"s return to our Mantra from the first lesson in The Ultimate Audition Guide Win The Part. "You deserve to get the part so believe in yourself - because if you don"t they won"t." Talent is not measurable on a fixed scale of 1 to 100. "Talent" is something that is "relative" in every audition and every production. What I mean by that is this: Your talent is only measured against the talent of the other people who are involved, not the whole world. Of course if you were to put the whole world in one audition then you"d fall somewhere from top to bottom but in reality you only have to worry about your immediate competition.

UFO: Big Foot Arrives Early on the Snake River

I decided to fish the Snake River because it never freezes and I wouldn"t need an ice auger. It"s only a few minutes from my house. We've had an early spring with temperatures in the 70s, perfect for fishing. I passed Fred"s house and then Ron"s house, the fellows who house, feed, and exercise two of my five horses. They of course pay the vet bills. That is our agreement. I want to own horses but I don"t have room to take care of them. Fred was out in the corral and I waved to him as I drove by. Ron is always indoors making saddles, so I didn"t see him as I passed his fields. As far as riding a horse, Ron"s wife said it would be far too dangerous for me.

How To Audition - Ace Your Next Audition

Many, dare I say, most performers are their own worst enemies when it comes to getting the part. They create obstacles from their own self doubt which they put in front of themselves at audition time. It"s a bit like that old saying - if you set yourself up to fail then it doesn"t hurt so much when you do! Change your attitude to auditions and change your luck at casting time. Really, in a nutshell, it is that simple. However, this article wouldn"t be of much value if I left it at that now would it! (But it"s still true! ) As Gabriel Byrne, the successful movie actor admits, he was having no luck in auditions until, "one day I walked through a door and got two jobs - two movies on the same day - because I had changed my attitude.

How To Audition - In Pursuit of Talent

If you don"t know what the director is looking for you can"t possibly fill the shoes! It"s true isn"t it? Now, when I say "know what the director is looking for" I can hear you saying - "You don"t even know what show/part/audition I"m going for - how can you possibly know what my director is looking for? " Well let"s stop right there.... Directors are only looking for one thing: TALENT. Now, if that frightens you stop reading right now, grab your teddy bear and go to bed - well, maybe not bed but stop going to auditions at least because you are wasting your time. However, "Talent" is such a vague term.

Vote For The Worst - Sanjaya Malakar

In 2004, Votefortheworst.com emerged to support voting for the entertaining contestants who the producers would hate to see win on American Idol. Why does Votefortheworst.com do it? During the first auditions, the producers of Idol only let particular people through. Many good people are turned away and many bad contestants are kept around to see Simon, Paula, and Randy so that America will be entertained. Now why do the producers do this? It's simple: American Idol is not about singing at all; it's about making good reality TV and enjoying the cheesy, guilty pleasure of watching bad singing.

Don t Join The Last Minute Crowd - Start Your Christmas Shopping Now

There are a great deal of mixture of envy looks and mean stares as I like to tell others about my early shopping for Christmas every year, particularly when the holiday is just around the corner. There is a general tendency among the general public not to get their shopping done earlier until pretty much the last week or last few days before the holiday season. The problem about this is you will find yourself either stuck in the traffic jam to get to the nearest shopping malls and centers for your last minute shopping or having a long wait at the counter queues. Why not start your Christmas shopping early?

Air Supply Love Zone Tour 07 08 Continues In Springfield, Ohio 3 10 07

For the second time in my life, I was able to see Air Supply in a large, non-casino-related venue. The first time was outdoors in Arizona in 1981 when I was a young teenager and the second time was this past Saturday night at the CSCC Performing Arts Center in Springfield, Ohio. An hour's drive from Columbus, Springfield, at first glance, seems a quiet, sleepy town out in the middle of nowhere. But as I drove downtown to my hotel, I was pleasantly surprised to see a city center filled with buildings dedicated to the Arts and historic preservation. I couldn't help but feel that this town was in touch with its love for community and continuing education.

Cellphone Or An Inspector

"Mobile phones sometimes work excellently. It is really an inspector of our fraudulent activities" My wife delights when she explains to me an account of a mobile phone whose miracles she had seen in a marriage which she has just attended in Chandigarh. Before she goes in details, I anxiously at once whisper. "I"ll buy you an excellent mobile phone with video camera facilities" I promise her sensing her desire of getting a mobile phone from me. "No, no, I already have a glitzy mobile phone, darling" She chirps. "I"ll buy you one more glitzy, darling" I hold her soft hand. "No, no. I want to explain to you its worst effects also" I stare at her popping my mouth up towards her.

Show Me The Money... Voice!

A term that gets bandied about in our industry among voiceover artists, producers, casting directors, etc. is "money voice". But, what IS the "money voice"? Easily defined, it is that voice that clients seem to respond to best. It is your voice, style, delivery, interpretation that sells the client's wares. It is that voice that is uniquely you. It's also that voice that you can reproduce without thought or effort. It is you, the whole you and nothing but the you. And, every voiceover artist has one.. However, sometimes it is difficult to be objective when it comes to selecting our own "money voice".
