I m Addicted to Superhero Comics, Movies, and Cartoons
X-men, Superman, Spiderman and his amazing friends, The Hulk, Justice League, Dragon ball Z, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, Bravestarr, Thundarr the Barbarian, Ironman, Fantastic 4, and so on and so on. I'm 33 and I'm addicted to superhero cartoons and movies. I mean every since the invention of the DVR (digital video recorder), I can't get enough of all the crime fighting stuff. Am I alone, and does anybody else like an overload of Spidey or X-men? Maybe I'm jealous, and it's the fact that kids today are spoiled silly, and as a kid I was unable to watch toons quite as much.
Gene Simmons
Gene Simmons was born Chaim Witz on august 25, 1949 in Israel. He is the blood-spitting, fire-breathing, tongue-wagging vocalist and rock bass guitarist of the rock band KISS. Due to his demonic face paint and on stage persona, he is also called "the demon" of the hard rock band which Gene Simmons had co-founded in the early 1970s. Immigrated to the US when he was 8 and emotionally scarred, Gene Simmons had a strong desire for wealth. He had changed his name from Chaim Witz to Eugene Klein, later Gene Klein and finally to Gene Simmons in the late 60s. Kiss released its first album in February of 1974 and Simmons became the driving force behind an extensive Kiss merchandising franchise.
The Way Things Used to Be - Cedric, the Singles Hitter
In punch ball Cedric always hit underhand, and never very hard, but he was a perfect place hitter. He'd bend at the waist to tie his shoes and study how they were playing him. If with two infielders, he'd slap the ball just over their heads, if with just one, he'd tap a slow roller to third. You never got him out. He ran too fast and the ball went too slowly. He never tried to hit the ball over the outfielder's head for a home run. He was cautious in everything and didn't even aspire to be what Blue Book called a "shooter." The only time I saw him shoot a marble it turned out badly. That was the day Barry Bogardus picked up a broken marble someone left lying in the gutter, went round the corner to West End Avenue and put it up against the curbstone.
Audio Books Online Are a Great Resource For the Enthusiasts
For centuries, people have considered books to be dear friends and fascinating companions that are capable of opening up doors of knowledge and expanding their understanding of the world on many levels. For a number of years, audio book versions have been a popular alternative for people who can't always find the time to read everything they wanted to read and so audio books online are the ultimate in convenience for audio book lovers. One of the best things about audio books in general is that they give people the chance to avail themselves of the knowledge that is contained within the covers of a treasured tome without having to crack open the cover.
The Cadaverous Wind Scorpions Flash Eldritch Fiction
((The Camel Spider) (the Matevenados)) They had just finished a skirmish in the Afghanistan Desert, with the insurgents (a group of Taliban soldiers), it was a hit and run and suicide style tactic, for evidently they didn't have any more capabilities. But there was much firing of small arms, and perhaps twenty-five of the insurgents, to a platoon type squad, of Americans, numbering a twelve, Josh McCord, an American Soldier, Buck Sergeant, was left for dead, and the platoon hightailed it out of there as they saw reinforcements coming to the rescue the-already, outnumber insurgents.
Two Poems The Illusion Haiku Here Today, Gone Tomorrow Poetic Prose
The Illusion On earth I thought all was fine, but upon my death, it was not quite that way, and so I wrote a poem for those folks who are under the same illusion I was, for God sent me back, simple as it may be, it is a warning: Haiku Looking for heaven, I crossed the river Jordon, And found Hell waiting. #2476 8-30-2008 "Here today, gone tomorrow! "Here today, gone tomorrow, " my mother used to say, in her simple natural way-and in-between, few of us are remembered. Movie stars, I think they think they'll be remembered until kingdom comes, like presidents of nations, and generals of armies, so many alike, but they are akin to old books badly written, put on shelves, like old songs, long forgotten, not much else.
The Entertainer s Online Marketing Checklist
In the early days of entertaining, most local performers were trapped in their hometowns or other towns located nearby simply because they couldn't afford to advertise nationally or internationally. The Internet shattered those boundaries by opening a means to communicate to everyone, everywhere. But many entertainers haven't been taught how to market effectively online and, therefore, aren't reaping any of the benefits. While it's not a matter of "if you build it, they will come, " Internet marketing also isn't as hard as most people make it out to be. If you follow the checklist below, you'll have a great start to marketing effectively online, so you can create a stream of gigs that will keep your calendar full.
Think Voice Training is Just For Hollywood? Think Again
When you hear your voice on your voicemail, what is your first reaction? Shock? Disbelief? Disgust? What is your second reaction? More than likely, it is to promptly forget it. It might be a good idea to listen again to that voice and acknowledge the fact that what you hear on your answering machine is the sound by which everyone knows you. While you may not recognize it, your family, your friends, and your colleagues do. That voice which you find shocking, appalling and/or embarrassing is your vocal image. When I was a child I would talk to my friends under water. The sound would be very garbled and muffled because it was sound that was traveling through a liquid.
The Quick-Fire Killer A Short Story
There's a reason for most things, and there was a reason no one could catch the killer..., let me correct that, no body could keep the killer long enough to secure him safely in a jail. Bell Edwards Lynn, he was no Jessie James, but he killed almost as many as Jessie did. Born 1947, in Minnesota, wanted by the FBI since, 1985, and no one have ever caught him, or kept him long enough to serve over 18-months in anyone jail. Why? This is the story of killer, his victims, and why he has never been confined (and there is much truth surrounding this story). His motives for his spree of killing, loose at best, but that is for you to decide, to me they were mostly-not all-what I'd call accidental.
Bubble Machine
I enjoy blowing bubbles even more During childhood, I used to like anything and everything that produces bubbles. In fact, my mother used to let me to do the dishes most of the time just by squeezing some dish soap in the bottom of the sink and letting me fill it up with water. This was a so exciting for me, but I enjoyed blowing bubbles even more. I was some bubble maker, too! I knew just the right mixture of soap and water could make bubble wands better than the ones you buy in stores, and could even get the air pressure enough to blow as many bubbles as possible. I realized how well a mechanical bubble blower work Looking at my first bubble machine, however, I knew that I had been doing it all wrong.
